The UO School of Journalism and Communication is always on the hunt for the next great way to tell compelling stories. That’s why Assistant Professor Ed Madison and his students launched OR Magazine in 2011—one of the first tablet-based student publications in the country. Now his intrepid team of student writers, designers, videographers, and photographers travels the state together in search of stories that are a great match for their format. Their latest issue includes pieces on rodeo princesses, the Coast Guard, wild horses, and more.
Curiosity and creativity are helping UO students build teams, hone, skills, and create a top-notch multimedia publication. See our student journalists tell their own story of collaboration on a recent issue of OR Magazine.
