The campus itself is just the right size to offer both opportunity and a tight community. And Eugene is the quintessential college town, with just the right amount of weird to keep things interesting. Visit and experience it for yourself.
Spend a day on campus and get a closer look at life at Oregon. Duck Preview is a full-day campus experience for high school seniors and their families. Juniors and transfer students are welcome, too. You’ll connect with faculty, staff, and students, explore academics, get your application questions answered, and tour campus with a student ambassador.

Can’t make it to campus? Check out our Future Duck Info Sessions and connect with UO’s admissions team in a city near you. These 2-hour sessions are ideal for high school seniors and families to learn about what makes UO special. From our Clark Honors College to undergraduate research, startup ventures, and faculty mentorship, Ducks are empowered to explore big ideas and make their mark.

Middle schools can work with the UO to arrange a family evening session in English or Spanish at a local school or community center. You’ll hear from Ducks about why college matters to them, and learn about financial aid and how to prep for college.

We welcome you to visit at any age or stage in your college search process. Our visit programs are ideal for prospective undergraduate students and their families.
View our visit calendar of campus tours and select a day and time that works for you. We recommend visiting on a weekday when classes are in session so you can get the most complete experience of the UO. Building access and tour times are limited during weekends, winter break, spring break, and summertime.
To make the most of your experience, we recommend scheduling at least two to four weeks in advance. However, we’ll do our best to accommodate you on short notice. Registration typically opens no more than two to three months in advance of the visit date.
Advance registration is needed for tours to ensure we can provide the best experience possible for all attendees. We may be able to accommodate you without a reservation on a space-available basis, or you can take the self-guided Main Campus Tour available on the University of Oregon Campus Map.
Once you submit the registration form, you and your guests will receive an email with parking instructions and other important arrival details.

Tours of athletic facilities are not included on our regular tour route. Hayward Field's museum is open to the public Tuesday–Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Contact the UO Athletic Department at 541-346-4481 to inquire about tours of other UO athletic facilities.
You can schedule a tour of the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Charleston on the OIMB website. For UO Portland, contact the specific academic program in which you’re interested.
We show a sample residence hall room on campus tours, but no overnight guests are allowed during the academic year. The UO has several partner hotels that we recommend.
