Demo Daze
University of Oregon Waterski Team sponsor, Staff Jennings, hosted Demo Days 2007 at Fern Ridge Shores yesterday. The team worked the event, signing up community members to demo the latest gear from HO Waterskis, Hyperlite Wakeboards, O’Neill Wetsuits, and Supreme Boats.
Team Captain Louie spent almost the entire day at the lake. All-Star Ashley and Coach Chris spent the morning at the lake. Special thanks to Nic Walton and Erin MacDonald for helping out too.
All-Star Ashley finishes 17th, CClark jumps even better at night.
Ashley made her SS, R, B, F, R, R, B, WF, and fell on her WB. Enough to score 400 points and finish 17th of the 27 top collegiate trickers in the nation! Great job Ashley!
Somewhere around 11pm, Coach Chris set his personal best, by 14 feet, leaping 123 feet under the stars! Unfortunately, he was seeded 15th versus #2 Brian Kinney, and was still eliminated in the first round.
