This year UOWGS will host its
first annual Generations Luncheon. We
envision this luncheon as an
opportunity for female scientists to meet and share their experience and expertise
with the next generation of up and coming scientists. Women at every
level of the science career ladder will be in attendance, including professional
scientists in academics andindustry,
graduate and undergraduate science majors, and high school students. During the luncheon
scientists further along in their careers will have the opportunity to talk to
young women who are consideringpursuing
higher education and/or a career in science and share their experience and expertise.
