2008-2009 Schedule
This schedule is a rough plan of what we are doing each weekend. Bus trips are dependent on how many people show up. If we they have great attendance, we’ll have a trip every weekend until June. If not, we’ll just use them when the team needs them. If we don't qualify for nationals we'll add a bus trip.
ASUO Recreational Club Schedule (Bus Trips to Bachelor)
Q: "How many trips will we be doing?"
A: We will have at least one trip every weekend from Jan through March, and potentially until the snow ends if there is interest
Q: "How long are the trips?"
A: All trips will go up and come back the same day. There is a possibility for over night trips which might coincide with the competition team but will depend upon funding, timing, and space for wherever we stay.
Q: "How do I get on a van?"
A: Trips will be emailed out two Wednesday's before the weekend they go up. You can sign up that Wednesday through the following Monday (which is the deadline). For example, say we were doing a trip on Saturday Dec. 6th, the weekend before finals. We would have a sheet for sign ups ready this coming Wednesday before thanksgiving day. The final day to sign up would be Monday of next week, and the trip would go up the following Saturday. This process will repeat each week throughout the term.
If you intend to go on a trip, make sure to sign up as early as possible and you should not have any problems getting a spot.
Q: "How many vans go up?"
A: We will most likely schedule 2 vans every weekend. That covers 24 people. If we need more and they fill up by Friday the week before and there are several people still trying to go, we will schedule additional van(s).
