The U of O Aikido Club was founded in 1988, with the goal of having a commited, positive, mat space for U of O students, faculty & staff to work out on that we didn't have to pay out big bucks for. Yeah, right. At least we have somewhat regular hours. Ask us about wrestling mats. Note; though our fear of wrestling mats stays with us our new room has very nice standard "martial arts" mats that don't chew up our toes so often.
Practice times for the 2006-2007 Academic Year are:
Monday and Wendensday 7:00 - 9:00 PM in SRC 42.
Each year we hold a gassuku taught by Frank Doran Shihan in January on approximately the 3rd weekend of the month. Click for more info.
