the Miller Theatre Complex

The University Theatre at University of Oregon is the first major expansion of theater facilities since the 1949 addition of the Robinson Theatre. The Robinson addition did not serve to enhance the historic character of Villard Hall, a National Historic Landmark building that represents the earliest era of campus development. The goal is to provide the Theatre Arts department the facilities needed for growth in capacity as well as quality of instruction, while unifying the various components of the Villard Hall complex and enhancing the fabric of the University campus.
