On January 29th (next Tuesday) in the law building room 175 at noon there will be an open forum to discuss the issue of equipping DPS with tasers.  If you feel strongly about this or just want to get more information on what exactly this means for students then stop by and get involved.

Since the Emu was closed on Monday a meeting will be held Thursday at 4pm. If this doesn't work let us know, otherwise come with an article idea and/or suggestions for those still searching.

At the meeting next Monday at 4:00pm the open stipend positions will be "discussed".  That is to say that we will be looking at those who are interested in the positions and possibly deciding on them.  If you are interested in one of these positions it would be great if you could come to next week's meeting.  If you cannot make it, then you should stop by the office (or contact us in some other way) to let us know you are interested.

At last night's meeting it was decided to move the Monday meetings to 4:00pm.  If you could not be there and you think this is a bad time, then you should contact us.  There will be a Thursday meeting (at least this week) at 5:00pm to discuss a good time for a second weekly meeting (if there is going to be one).

The meeting tonight will be at the regularly scheduled time (that is 5pm).  We will discuss if we need to change meeting times at the meeting.  Hope to see you there!
