2009 Commencement Ceremony
The University of Oregon will hold its Spring 2009 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 13 at 12:00 Noon in McArthur Court. Complete information can be found on the Student Life website http://studentlife.uoregon.edu/programs/commencement/index.htm
The English Department will hold a departmental ceremony on Saturday, June13 at 3:00pm in the Memorial Quad. More information will be sent in early May to all students who have applied for graduation on DuckWeb. If you plan to graduate this spring, you will need to apply on DuckWeb for all majors, minors, and certificates. If you have 12 credits or less and will be completing those credits during summer term but would like to walk in the Spring department ceremony, please come into the English office the first part of May to sign up to walk or fill out the form at : English Department Commencement Form.
If you know you will be walking in the department ceremony and have any special needs or if any of your guests have special needs, please contact the English Department as soon as possible either in person or by filling out the form mentioned above.
No tickets are necessary for either ceremony.
A picture will be taken of every graduate who crosses the stage, as well as ceremony and friends and family pictures. You can pre-register at the site below to receive a free proof of your assigned images as well as an e-mail notification when your pictures go active on the site.
