        <description>Reed Burgette recently received an Outstanding Student Paper Award by the Geodesy section of the American Geophysical Union.  Reed presented his work at the Fall 2007 meeting held in San Francisco.  The paper was titled 'A more accurate vertical velocity field for coastal Oregon reveals variations in extent of locking on the Cascadia Subduction zone'.</description>
