Resources
Research Centers
A directory of academic centers that host conferences, working groups, seminars, speakers, and sometimes fellows on topics that may be of interest to FEEGI members.
Series from Academic Publishers
A listing of academic series that focus on topics within the history of global interaction and European expansion. If you are looking for a publisher, this list may be useful.
Recent Publications of Interest
As academic publishing budgets shrink, authors are being asked to help with the publicity. New book announcements that I receive are posted here. As titles accumulate, an email will be sent to the FEEGI listserv each month or so.
Teaching Materials
Rather than list individual books, this page aims to introduce you to various thematic series designed for course use, especially primary source readers. Of course, many of the publications on the Academic Series page may also be of use in classes. (I'd like to add a new subsection of books tested and recommended for classroom use by FEEGI members, but I need suggestions first.)
General/Global Mailing Lists
The FEEGI listserv, which is open to all members of FEEGI.
Suggestions
These directories are constant works in progress. To suggest additional resources in the field of global interaction and European expansion from the fourteenth century to the mid-nineteenth century, or to have an outdated link fixed or removed, please email the webmaster, FEEGI Editor Dayo Nicole Mitchell. Please be sure to include the actual URL that you suggest should be added. Links to resources outside North America are especially desired. Suggestions for new categories of resources are also welcome.
