LCC--Math 95 (CRN:20069)

Tu & Thur at 7:00--8:50 pm

Classroom: 186 Building #16

Welcome to my math 95 class! I'll try my best to save paper by posting worksheets and information online as much as I can. The best suggestion I can give you to succeed in this course is to be one step ahead--read the section(s) before you come to class, do the homework as soon as it's assigned; and most of all, ask questions as soon as they arise. As a teacher, it's my pleasure and duty to help each student. And it's your job to make sure you are asking questions and understanding the material.

You can print out several class handouts here: class syllabus , syllabus quiz . basic skills review worksheet.

More on the "Homework Folder"-- Every week you should print out a cover sheet that tells you what you need to hand in. Put all the assignments along with the cover sheet on top in a three-ring binder to turn in. You can usually print out worksheets or forms online, if they are not passed out in class. To do the book assignments, start each section on a new page with your name on top of the page. Show your work neatly and show all steps. Mathematics is not just about arriving at the correct answers, but it’s also about how to explain things to others in a logical way. Make sure you keep all handouts, worksheets and homework in the correct order. Show all your work appropriately and clearly to receive full credit.
