This year's ASHP Journal will be released in the Spring 2009
Call for Articles. Last day to submit articles is Friday February 27, 2009
The Associated Students for Historic Preservation (ASHP) would like to invite you to submit articles for the 2009 ASHP Journal. The Journal provides a forum for students, professionals, and the public to engage and discuss current topics facing the preservation community.
We are currently looking for articles that fit the following criteria:
-Submitted articles should be between 1500 and 2000 words and should include the authors name and article title.
-Photographs, when appropriate, need to be submitted with the article, min. 300 dpi.
-Articles should be accompanied a one paragraph bio of the author, including telephone number and e-mail address.
-All articles should be prepared in Microsoft Word 97 or higher, using double-spacing, one-inch margins, 12-point font, and endnotes (not footnotes).
-Articles should be saved in the following format: Lastname_AbbreviatedArticalTitle.doc
Articles should be submitted electronically to ashp@uoregon.edu.
Please type "Journal submission 2009" into the subject line of the email.
Articles are due by Friday February 27, 2009.
