Mission Statement:The mission of the AccessABILITY Student Union is (1) to create an actively supportive space for students with disabilities and their allies, (2) to join on and off campus communities in providing education about disability and disability culture, and (3) to advocate for increased awareness and accessibility at the University of Oregon. In order to accomplish our goals, we meet regularly, plan social events, bring speakers with disabilities to campus to share their perspectives, and advocate for all types of disability concerns at the University of Oregon. In other words, we strive to create a social, cultural, and political outlet for students with disabilities and their allies.
