Olum Atrium
At the heart of Willamette Hall, focal point of the science complex, is the Paul Olum Atrium. Named for the university's 13th president, the five-story atrium contains street lamps, staircases, and tiling designed to artistically represent the sciences. Huge skylights and an open-area café make it feel like a town square. The atrium serves as a hub where faculty members and students of various disciplines can meet informally and exchange ideas.
