College is preparation for life, and part of that is finding a career that you love. According to the 2005 Fiske Guide, the UO's Career Center and university advisers are both excellent. It is the source for part-time, full-time and work-study positions as well as internship opportunities. The center sponsors quarterly career fairs, and counselors work individually with students to clarify career directions, write professional resumes, and design customized job search plans.
