Philanthropy
We also host three additional philanthropic endeavors each year:
a 5K run around campus in the fall to raise money for EC Cares,
a pre-school for autistic children; and two Halloween activities
for the pre-school aged children. All said and done, the women
of Kappa expect to have given 10,000 hours of community service
over the year as a combination of our own philanthropies or through
participation in other Greek philanthropic events. We believe
that giving back to the community so extensively is one aspect
that distinguishes Kappa as a group of exceptional women. |
